Apart from the iron, the retailer has also placed other giant installations in some of the city’s high-traffic areas, including an interactive water tap at Dataran Merdeka, where visitors can draw drinking water; a paint roller and battery charger at Bukit Bintang; a giant Disney tumbler at Mid Valley Megamall, and a dinosaur plush toy, and football at MyTown Cheras. the installations serve the dual purpose of informing the public of the initiative, and for them to win prizes through the #KecilBesarMRDIYada Snap & Win Contest. All contestants have to snap a photo at one of the installations, upload it on social media with the KecilBesarMRDIYada hashtag, and submit it on the contest microsite.
