The much-anticipated Ultraman: The Ultra Tour made a spectacular debut at Sunway Pyramid, turning the iconic shopping destination into a heroic haven for Ultraman fans. From giant character displays to explosive fan interactions, the launch brought together enthusiasts of all ages to celebrate the legendary Ultra Heroes with immersive activities, stage performances, and exclusive merchandise.
At the heart of the event was a record-breaking moment — Ultraman fans rallied in themed costumes to achieve the largest gathering of Ultraman fans in Malaysia, earning recognition from ASEAN Records and marking an unforgettable milestone in the franchise’s history.
The Ultra Tour officially kicked off at the Blue Concourse of Sunway Pyramid, where fans were treated to an action-packed start filled with live action, interactive play zones, and memorable meet-and-greet sessions. The launch day was further elevated by special appearances from beloved characters and talented actors from the Ultraman universe, thrilling long-time supporters and new fans alike.
Following its explosive start, the Ultra Tour rolled out on an energetic journey across multiple Sunway malls nationwide, bringing Ultraman excitement closer to fans throughout Malaysia. Each stop featured fun-filled activities like themed playland zones, exclusive merchandise pop-ups, and opportunities to meet characters in person. The tour stops included: Sunway Putra Mall – Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Carnival Mall – Seberang Jaya, Penang, Sunway Velocity Mall – Kuala Lumpur, Sunway Big Box Retail Park – Iskandar Puteri, Johor and Sunway Kluang Mall – Kluang, Johor. At each location, fans young and old were invited to dive deeper into the Ultraman world with games, performances, collectibles, and creative experiences celebrating the hero’s legendary legacy.
In an exciting expansion of the Ultra Tour, the journey ventured beyond Peninsular Malaysia for the first ever Ultraman event in East Malaysia at Center Point Sabah Shopping Mall in Kota Kinabalu. From 18th to 22nd August 2025, Center Point’s Palm Square was transformed into an Ultraman adventure zone, complete with fan meet-and-greet sessions, interactive activities, and photo opportunities with beloved Ultra Heroes. This marked a groundbreaking moment for fans in Borneo, bringing the iconic franchise closer to a whole new community and celebrating Ultraman’s growing influence across the region.
